About Ron:
Ron Gunzburger is a lawyer, new media journalist, businessman, civil servant, and owner of the sole-proprietorship Politics1.com site on US politics. He currently serves as General Counsel & Director of Administration for the Broward County Property Appraiser's Office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The South Florida Business Journal honored Ron and 39 others in 1998 with its prestigious "40 Under 40 Award" for achieving career excellence before age 40. Ron began his political consulting career when his mother first ran for local political office in 1982 (she won that race in an upset and won seven more elections since then). Specializing in direct mail and message development, Ron worked as a professional campaign consultant for over 20 years in over 130 campaigns ranging from municipal races through Congressional campaigns. His innovative and often humorous campaign ads have been featured on NBC's Today Show, CNN's Headline News and in numerous print articles. Originally from New England, Ron has lived in South Florida for most of his life. He and his partner Dana currently reside in Fort Lauderdale. They were married in Toronto in 2006 on their 19th anniversary -- something they couldn't legally do in US -- and enjoy spending time in the Vancouver/Whistler region.
